Do I need to live in Umeå to apply to eXpression Umeå?

It’s not a demand on our part. But we are happy, of course, if your heart beats just that little bit extra for our region and community as it is an essential part of our business.

However, for certain parts of our programs, you will need to be in Umeå. Sometimes for longer periods. If you want to inquire about a specific program, you can contact the program manager whose contact information you find together with the information about each of the programs. As an entrepreneur, what support can I expect?

We have four different programs: Summer eXpression, Ideation, eXpress and Creative Corporation.

These programs involve different types of support and to various extent. Our offer to you includes:

Business development support from experienced and dedicated coaches.
Opportunities for networking with eXpression Umeå’s rich network with connections to academia as well as the business community.
Own office space, desk or flexible workplace depending on your needs and the program you are attending.
Access to lab environments, conference rooms, and venues in adjustable sizes.
Inspiration and motivation. We promote an environment characterized by DIT – Do It Together.

Does eXpression Umeå charge anything for my participation in any of the programs?

Our programs are free of charge. What we require of you are your time and your commitment.

However, it is important that you ensure an income during your time with us. If you do not have employment or income from your business, please contact any of our business coaches for advice on financial support. You will find contact information for them here.
